Astana links southern blackout to incident at Kyrgyzstan's Toktogul HPP

ASTANA. Aug 25 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakhstan has linked the mass power outage in the south of the country to the shutdown of hydroelectric units No. 1 and No. 2 at Kyrgyzstan's Toktogul hydroelectric plant, Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov said.
